Mayoral welcomes holidaymakers to ‘Embrace Summer’ on the KZN South Coast

Boasting the highest number of Blue Flag beaches in the province, and with all beaches open for bathing, the KZN South Coast has been gearing up for a bumper summer holiday season this year. Welcoming the many visitors to the shores during the annual Mayoral Roadblock was Ray Nkonyeni Municipality’s (RNM) Mayor Cllr Zodwa Mzindle and CEO of South Coast Tourism & Investment Enterprise (SCTIE) Dr Vusumuzi Sibiya who handed out goodie bags at Oribi Toll Plaza on Friday, 13 December. Law enforcement was also on hand to ensure safe travel for all holidaymakers. Gagasi FM brought the vibe with a live broadcast from the Mayoral Roadblock, with visitors directed to the beaches, world-class dive sites, 11 golf courses, hinterland and cultural adventures in the Paradise of the Zulu Kingdom. Holidaymakers heading to the stunning KZN South Coast were also encouraged to download the ‘Explore KZN South Coast’ app, visit the website, and check out the Events Calendar, or keep on top of the action by following South Coast Tourism on Facebook; South Coast Tourism and Investment Enterprise on YouTube; @infosouthcoast on Twitter or Instagram; and South Coast Tourism & Investment Enterprise on LinkedIn following the hashtags #visitkznsouthcoast #sctie #kznsouthcoastfamily #embracesummer #nowsthetime.
