KZN South Coast Product Owners Engage National Buyers in SAT Speed Marketing Session at Pumula Beach Hotel
The KZN South Coast continues to shine as a premier destination for business and leisure, with local product owners recently engaging national buyers at the South African Tourism (SAT) Speed Marketing Session held at Pumula Beach Hotel on 18 September 2024. This event provided an excellent platform for local tourism and hospitality businesses to showcase their offerings, creating valuable networking opportunities and fostering growth for both the region and individual businesses.
The four-day program saw national buyers immersed in the beauty and diversity of the KZN South Coast, with visits to key attractions that highlight the region’s unique blend of nature, culture and adventure. This experiential approach allowed buyers to gain first-hand insight into what makes the South Coast an ideal destination for tourists, encouraging long-term partnerships that will drive future tourism.
The event offered a dual benefit boosting the visibility of the South Coast as a vibrant destination while equipping local businesses with the chance to market their products to influential buyers in the tourism industry. Product owners were able to present their unique offerings from accommodation and adventure activities to cultural experiences, helping to secure deals that will enhance their growth and visibility on a national level.
“The Speed Marketing Session is a powerful tool for unlocking opportunities in the tourism sector,” said the Manager: Finance, HR and Administration of South Coast Tourism and Investment Enterprise. “By connecting local businesses with national buyers, we are not only promoting the region’s rich tourism potential but also empowering our product owners to expand their reach and secure new business opportunities.”
With its wealth of attractions, natural beauty and entrepreneurial spirit, the KZN South Coast is set to thrive as a leading destination in the tourism landscape.
