The KZN South Coast is gearing up for a vibrant summer season, offering families an unforgettable blend of coastal relaxation and rich hinterland adventure. Known for having the highest number of Blue Flag Beaches in KZN (8) and 6 Pilot Beaches, the region remains one of South Africa’s safest and most scenic seaside destinations. But this summer, the spotlight also falls on the exciting cultural and nature-based experiences found inland.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the Gamalakhe Township Experience, a lively cultural journey that showcases local cuisine, arts, storytelling and warm community spirit.
