What’s on at Wild Coast Sun this August?
Aunty Rumba is back on home turf for an an unforgettable evening of laughter and music that gets August at Wild Coast Sun off to a great start. The following weekend sees the legendary Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels play two gigs in the Amadiba Ballroom.
The resort is celebrating Women’s month with some fantastic shows. The Tropical Nights Theatre will be filled with laughter and good times on Friday, 8 August 2025 as Nonto R hosts the All Stars Comedy Night; and on Saturday, 9 August 2025 – National Women’s Day – is the annual Woman 2 Woman event, now in its fourth year, honouring the achievements and resilience of South African women.

After sold-out shows across the country, Jailoshini Naidoo and her colourful, hilariously entertaining alter ego, Aunty Rumba, are set to rock The Wild Coast Sun’s Tropical Nites Theatre on home turf.

For more than 40 years Dr Victor (real name Victor Khojane) has been crafting and creating an uplifting up-tempo sound that has earned this singer, musician, songwriter and producer an enviable reputation on the South African music scene and abroad.
Together with his group The Rasta Rebels, they continue to be one of the busiest live bands in South Africa and abroad, doing a range of events from corporate gigs to headlining shows across the country and abroad.

Woman 2 Woman Annual Event 2025 – Saturday, 9 August 2025
With the theme “Accelerate Action”, the fourth edition of this annual event aims to inspire bold steps toward women’s equality through empowerment, fashion, and personal growth.
Woman 2 Woman is a premier Women’s Day celebration at Wild Coast Sun, honouring the achievements and resilience of South African women. It brings together 450 women from diverse backgrounds — including business leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers — for an afternoon of inspiration, connection, and celebration. Guests will enjoy motivational talks from influential speakers, live entertainment, and a stylish buffet lunch, all designed to ignite action and elevate women’s voices.
Guest speakers will be Cynthia Nene (Mrs Bold 2024, resort marketing manager, entrepreneur, motivational speaker); Nozibele Mayaba (award-winning author, advocate for women’s health and empowerment); and Stacey Norman (renowned radio personality, TV host, voiceover artist). Master of ceremonies will be award-winning actress, radio personality, comedian and drama teacher, Maeshni Naicker.
