The equally well-known Zizi’s Cafe is located within the Lodge and apart from ‘Excellent Dining’; the venue provides a magnificent ambience for those quiet special evenings, the family event or even business meetings, large or small.

Our chef, Dillon was born in Harding, Kwazulu Natal and grew up in the Queensburgh area of Durban. He always had a passion for food, from watching his mother cook to becoming her sous chef at 13 years old. He knew that he wanted a career in the hospitality industry and food was the obvious choice.

Upon completing his high school career, Dillon enrolled at the South African Hospitality Institute and the dream grew from there. During and after his training Dillon has worked at many illustrious hotels such as Elangeni and Maharani hotel, The Pavilion Hotel as well as The Oyster Box to name a few. He has settled on the South Coast and is excited to bring you cuisine that is flavourful, and dining that feels like home.
