Umzumbe, a blue flag beach

Umzumbe beach, also known as Pumula Beach, is located near Port Shepstone and has been described as a ‘hidden treasure’, ‘breathtakingly beautiful’, ‘relaxing’ and the ‘ultimate family beach’. Those descriptions hold true! Umzumbe Beach is a must-visit blue flag beach, with its clean waters, experienced lifeguards and clean beaches, it is a perfect choice for a prime beach getaway!

The wonderous and lush coastal vegetation stretches along vast, empty dunes on the beach, perfect for views of the ocean and sunrises or sunsets! Still situated in the Umzumbe area, the Ntelezi Msani Heritage Centre is a popular attraction where visitors can learn all about the origins, arts and crafts, health and wellness, and even combat styles of the Zulu Kingdom! This is the perfect experience for history fanatics or any visitors that are curious about the origins of the Zulu Kingdom and its rulers.
