The South Coast region of KwaZulu-Natal starts 30-minutes’ drive south from Durban following the coastline for about 120km, all the way from Scottburgh to Port Edward, bordering the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape and stretching inland up to Harding. A popular self-drive destination, the KZN South Coast also has a central airport, the Margate Airport, which offers car hire and a number of helipads and private airstrips are also available.
