“With this being a leap year, we’re encouraging visitors to take a leap and do something a bit different for Valentine’s,” commented Deborah Ludick Manager of Finance & CS of South Coast Tourism & Investment Enterprise (SCTIE). “On the KZN South Coast, we have everything from the traditional romantic venues to once-in-a-lifetime adventures for thrill seekers – and many of our local establishments are offering great Valentine’s specials that shouldn’t be missed!”
Valentine’s Day on the KZN South Coast
1. Valentine’s Weekend Getaway
Kingfisher Lakeside Retreat is offering an extended Valentine’s special on the weekends before and after Valentine’s Day. Book one of these weekends and receive a free bottle of champagne or wine on ice, and a delicious cooked breakfast for two on Saturday morning.

Lake Eland Game Reserve is offering a special on its zipline adventure for Valentine’s weekend. This is a 14-zipline tour, the longest zipline in Africa extending across 4.5km with incredible views.

5. Romantic Game Drive
