Casa Toscana Ristorante, an Italian restaurant with a Tuscan flair, has a loyal following amongst locals and foodies, with it having been called “one of the best traditional Italian food restaurants in South Africa”. Situated in a charming stone villa, the restaurant has a beautiful view of the Mpenjati lagoon too. Owners Mario and Marisa Toniolo moved from Tuscany to South Africa in the early 1990s and opened the restaurant in 2007. In 2018 they were joined by Marius Becker, who adds his professionalism to the team. Due to its popularity, limited space and the fact that it serves lunch and dinner during specific days and times only, booking is absolutely essential.
