Spread out a blanket and enjoy the South Coast’s tropical year-round temperatures with a picnic at the four-star Wild Coast Sun Resort in Port Edward.
The Sun International resort’s gin and tonic themed picnic baskets are the ideal private experience to curate a relaxing holiday atmosphere.
Place your request with the hotel’s banqueting team 24-hours ahead of time and you can pick up your basket and choose from an array of stunning natural destinations – head down to the beach for a romantic sunset, work up a thirst at Wild Waves Water Park, or spread your blanket on the lush lawns with views of the ocean and surrounding bush.
Guests will enjoy a basket of delights including baguettes (chicken or vegetable), Greek pasta salad, chicken strips, cheese and crackers, crisps, peanuts and raisins, and whole fruit. Rounding off the picnic is a sweet option of a mini dessert of the day with homemade biscuits.
Besides gin and tonic, other non-alcoholic thirst quenchers include still water and Tru-Fruit juices.
