Located just 2km North of Scottburgh, Crocworld Conservation Centre offers the perfect day for visitors of all ages. Home to some truly fascinating creatures like the conservations most famous ambassadors, as seen above: 116 year old Henry the oldest knows Nile Crocodile in captivity and the iconic African Fish Eagle named Isis who answers when you call her name. Like many others she is taken care of by the conservation because she would not survive out in the wild due to injury.
The Centre boasts extensive displays including aviaries full of local and exotic birds, a large collection of venomous and non-venomous snakes; and of course the crocodiles for which it is most famous. Guests have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these incredible species, and also to learn more about them during demonstrations and feeding times given by the Centre’s knowledgeable staff.
A day out at Crocworld Conservation Centre is an unforgettable experience, and not just because of the quirky animals that live there. In addition, the Centre offers guests the chance to relax in its beautiful indigenous gardens, and to visit its onsite restaurant, Le Rendez-Vous with spectacular sea views are almost as impressive as the menu.
